Pool Opening Update #2

Pool Opening Update #2

Dear Homeowners,

As you’ve probably heard or read about, Travis County has extended the stay at home order until June 15th. In accordance with the extension, we don’t believe it is safe to open the pool on Memorial Day as previously communicated due to a continued increase in cases of COVID-19 in the Central Texas area. We’re preparing to open the pool on June 15th with some extra precautions in place.

As in prior years, we will have a pool attendant on duty when the pool is open, but you’ll notice a few differences:

1. Occupancy will be limited in accordance with local public health guidelines. Due to these limits, guests are temporarily not permitted. With 1460 homes in our community, we will quickly reach the occupancy limit with our residents.

2. Temperatures will be checked at point of entry. If you’re experiencing or have experienced a fever greater than 99.6 F or any other symptoms of a respiratory illness in the last 14 days, we ask that you please stay home.

3. Food will not be permitted within the pool area. The water fountains will be out of service, we recommend you bring bottled water instead.

4. Social distancing will be required, you must stay 6 feet away from patrons outside your household in and out of the pool.

Please understand that even with these precautions in place, it is not without risk and we ask that you use your own judgement in using our amenities.

Since the circumstances surrounding the pandemic tend to change on frequent basis, we will continue to monitor the progress and make modifications necessary throughout the year to protect the health and safety of our community.

We understand these precautions may be a slight inconvenience, but the health and safety of our residents and vendors are our top priority.

Best regards,
Board of Directors

Pool Opening Update

Pool Opening Update

Dear Homeowners,

After much thought and consideration, the Board has decided to delay opening the pool until Memorial Day. We were excited to offer weekends in May, but with the COVID-19 situation, we aren’t confident we will be able to do so. We rely on several vendors to maintain and manage the pool and feel it is only right by their employees to give as much notice as possible. We are continually monitoring the situation and will update you if there are any further changes to the pool schedule.

Best Regards,

Upcoming Deed Restrictions Drive on 4/16

Upcoming Deed Restrictions Drive on 4/16

Dear Homeowners,

Our new management company, Goodwin and Co., will be conducting their first full deed restrictions inspection drive on April 16th. It has been a couple months since an inspection drive has been performed and we would like to give everyone an advance notice to make sure your property is in tip-top shape. These inspections are typically performed twice a month and will continue on that schedule moving forward.

You are probably already familiar with the restrictions in our community, but if you aren’t, the documents are listed on our website at brookfieldowners.com and in the TownSq app.

For the first drive, management will be primarily focused on a few areas:
– general lawn care,
– trash/recycling bins being shielded from street view, and
– the property is free from rubbish and unsightly articles.

While it won’t be a focus for the first drive, it is a perfect time to start making or planning any needed fence repairs as well.

We understand that the situation with COVID-19 has the majority of us staying at home and your access to home improvement stores is limited, but we ask that you do the best you can with what you have on hand. As a courtesy, we are closing out all prior violations and any new violation from this drive will first be given a courtesy notice.

If you have existing fines on your account, please reach out to our Association Manager by email at aboamanager@goodwintx.com. We will waive prior fines (minus the postage and handling costs) if you bring your account current and agree to keep these violations resolved.

Thank you for your time, attention, and efforts in making our neighborhood safe and comfortable for everyone.

Kind Regards,
Board of Directors

COVID-19 Update 03/16

COVID-19 Update 03/16

Dear Neighbors,

The Association has been following closely as the situation with COVID-19 has progressed in community and across the country. In accordance with current public health recommendations, we’ve closed our community common spaces such as our parks and playgrounds. We’ve secured the gates to the areas where they exist and ask that you please avoid the use of the other areas. Our public health authorities continue to emphasize that limiting social contact is key to preventing the spread of COVID-19.

For our neighbors who are older or have compromised immune systems, we’re here to help. We have wonderful neighbors in our community who have volunteered to help you with your errands or shopping. If you could use help, please contact us at via phone/text at 512-387-2404 or email at volunteersupport@brookfieldowners.com and we will do our best to get matched up with a volunteer. If you’re interested in volunteering, please reach out and we’ll be sure to include you.

Please take the time to check in on your neighbors and let them know we’re available to help if you aren’t able to help them yourselves. We recognize that not everyone is on social media or checks their email regularly.

And remember, wash your hands!

Sincerely,
Board of Directors
