Dear homeowners and residents,
Due to COVID-19, we are unable to hold our traditional Halloween Movie in the Park and Trunk or Treat events. Brookfield homeowners and residents invite you to participate in mini-parades around the neighborhood on Halloween evening starting at 6 PM. If you want to participate, it’s a great way to celebrate while following public health guidelines to protect your family and neighbors. There’s no need to sign up, simply decorate your car and grab some treats to toss out. If you have allergy friendly treats, you could place a teal pumpkin on your car. We probably won’t have many allergy safe options this year so keep that in mind. We encourage focusing on the few blocks around your home as we have such a large community. If you want to participate in receiving treats, it’s simple: wear your favorite costume and wait in your yard for the parade to come by! Please use proper safety protocols around vehicles and people. Please do not allow children to approach vehicles and keep a safe distance.
Additionally, Brookfield Owners Association is sponsoring a Halloween yard decorating contest! If you wish to enter, please fill out the entry form (https://forms.gle/q3eRAgpKr3tVDNZ86). The judges will visit all houses that enter between 6 and 8 PM on the evening before Halloween. First, second, and third place will receive restaurant delivery gift cards! We look forward to seeing your decorations! Winners will be posted on our official Facebook page at http://www.fb.me/brookfieldowners and our website at https://www.brookfieldowners.com/.

Brookfield Owners Association
Brookfield Owners Association is having a neighborhood-wide community yard sale.
Saturday, November 2nd from 8am-2pm.
Volunteers will be placing signs at the neighborhood entrances. You don’t need to register anywhere, just pull out your stuff, set up and sell!
If you put up signs directing traffic to your home, be sure to take them down when the event ends.
2019 Fall Community Yard Sale
With the resignation of our social committee chair, the Association has been unable to plan events for this summer but it isn’t too late to get started. If you are interested in joining the social committee to help plan and execute events, please let us know by contacting Certified Management of Austin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If we are able to get enough volunteers and jump start social committee meetings, there’s no reason we can’t have a couple great events this summer.
Social events bring the community together and play a vital role in helping neighbors get to know each other. Please let us know if you’re interested in volunteering and continuing to make Brookfield a great place to live.
