2019 Board of Directors Nominees
Don’t forget about the upcoming 2019 Annual Meeting of the Members on Monday, May 20, 2019!
There are two (2) open board positions. If you are interested in running, please submit your name and bio to Vangie Bocanegra at vangieb@cmaaustin.com.
As of today, we have two candidates. Below are the two candidates and their bios:
Scott Dollins
I’ve served on the Board of Directors for 3 years including 2 years as President. Over the last 3 years, we’ve made quite a bit of change including adding 2 additional directors to the board, instituting a formal code of conduct for board and committee members, starting several annual social events, and revamping our community website. I believe the Association is on a great path forward and I would like to continue serving our community. While this will complete my final year as President, if re-elected, I look forwarding to moving into a position to support the Board and its future endeavors in the best way I can.
I have a background in Information Technology and Project Management. My previous employment experiences include working at a Fortune 10 company, contracting for the federal government, and I currently work in wholesale financial services. My experience in IT has proven to be helpful as we’ve worked on our new website and irrigation system overhaul. I look forward to continuing to apply my experience to our Association initiatives and hope I will have your support in doing so.
Wendy Russom
My name is Wendy Russom; I’m a native Texan, originally from Northeast Texas. I moved to the Austin area in 2010. I have one daughter, who is 28 and currently living in College Station. I bought my home in Brookfield in August 2015, and really enjoy the area. My biggest concerns are neighborhood safety, home values, and maintaining a great quality of life for residents of Brookfield. I will work hard with the board of directors for our homeowners association. I would appreciate your vote!
