Brookfield Owners and Residents,

We’ve heard feedback from homeowners and residents about our pool. A majority of homeowners and residents have let us know that they want an attendant at the pool all day while it is open. We compared multiple options including security and lifeguards. We’ve decided to staff the pool with an attendant who will primarily monitor the gate for unauthorized entry and other trespassing as the root of our issues at the pool stem from this. Due to the cost of this endeavor, we are opening the pool a bit later this year and slightly changing the hours. The new pool hours will be 10 AM to 8 PM with extended exercise/lap-only hours from 5 AM to 10 AM. While the pool season and hours are slightly reduced, the pool is still opening before City of Austin and Pflugerville pools and will have longer hours.

We appreciate the feedback we’ve gotten and have tried to implement the suggestions while still ensuring fiscal responsibility. The pool has not been used much in the early mornings so we don’t believe this will have much impact.

As a reminder, the pool will open Friday May 25th at 10 AM. The pool will remain open through the season from 10 AM to 8 PM daily. An active pool card is required to use the pool at all times. If you don’t have an active pool card, please send in your pool form.
